Village Hotel recruits six leisure staff ahead of Sheffield opening

Village Hotel is recruiting ahead of its planned February opening at the former DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park on Chesterfield Road South in Batemoor.

Six leisure centre posts are being advertised: a personal trainer, a cleaner, a receptionist and three managers, according to The Star. The company says bookings are ‘live’.

Plans for the hotel include 133 bedrooms, facilities for banquets and meetings, a pool, a restaurant, a bar and a Starbucks coffee shop. The previous hotel closed in July last year.

Village Hotel has also been announced as Sheffield Wednesday Football Club’s official training wear sponsor. The company already has an agreement with Sheffield United for its logo to appear on the team’s shirt sleeves.
